This publication was printed on the occasion of the exhibition MANAVA at the Museum of Tahiti and Her Islands (2013), which travelled to WUHO, Los Angeles, CA (Dec. 2014-Jan. 2015). The exhibition was the result of a yearlong workshop conducted by Alexander Lee at the Centre des Métiers d'Art de Polynésie Française, in Papeete. The book features the 50 artists and their respective works in the exhibition.
